ACCEO Tender Retail Achieves Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Retail EFTLink

The integration between ACCEO Tender Retail and Oracle Retail EFTLink includes support for standard payment functionality

June 19, 2019 ACCEO Tender Retail, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of Tender Retail (formerly MCM V5) with Oracle Retail EFTLink, the standard payment interface for the Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service (POS).

ACCEO Tender Retail’s semi-integrated payment software routes payments direct to the merchant acquirer(s). This “anti-gateway” solution allows chain retailers an opportunity to eliminate the middleman and the perpetual “per transaction” or “monthly subscription” fees. Merchants are free to choose the pin pad and processor(s) they need for both in-lane and mobile implementations.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers.

ACCEO Tender Retail is a processor and device agnostic solution enabling merchants to select any industry-leading, North American acquirer and best-of-breed payment hardware providers. It provides support for:

  • Major US and Canadian processors including Chase, First Data, Worldpay, Global, Elavon, TSYS, TD, and others.
  • Payment terminals from major manufacturers including Ingenico, Pax, Equinox, Verifone, and others.
  • Gift card providers including Givex, SVS, Valuelink, and others.

“ACCEO Tender Retail’s Direct-to-Processor approach is one of the most cost-effective solutions for in-store payments in North America. Oracle Retail Xstore customers can utilize the Oracle Retail EFTLink to implement the Tender Retail solution. Through this collaboration, new and existing Oracle Retail Xstore customers have access to a direct-to-processor solution that can simplify payment routing and eliminate costly gateway transaction fees or monthly subscription fees,” said Mark Vredeveld, senior director sales and marketing, Acceo Tender Retail.

“Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers the confidence that the integration between ACCEO Tender Retail and Oracle Retail EFTLink is functionally sound and performs as tested,” said David Hicks, vice president, Worldwide ISV Cloud Business Development, Oracle. “For solutions deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”

ACCEO Tender Retail’s semi-integrated solutions are pre-certified for EMV and essentially plug and play, making it much less costly to develop, integrate and support. Taking card data out of the POS environment makes merchants much less susceptible to a data breach. Tender Retail also supports tokenization and point-to-point encryption (P2PE) to add to the overall security of the Oracle Retail Xstore POS solution.

ACCEO Tender Retail also provides support for new and existing customers that are using prior versions of Oracle Retail Xstore and Tender Retail.
